2017

  • May 21-June 21: My acrylic painting, Running the Rapids is included in the 38th Annual Vintage Artists Gallery exhibit at 2600 Netherland Avenue, Bronx, NY 10463.  Opening reception is Sunday, May 21st, 12:00-3:00.
  • May 15-June 14: I have four acrylic paintings in the 1100 Watercolor Society “Imaginings” exhibit in the Treasure Room at the Interchurch Center, 475 Riverside Drive at W 120 Street, New York City.  Reception: May 25, 5:30-7:30. The exhibit is open M-F 9-5.
  • Apr. 27 – May 1: My acrylic paintings, Pandora and Explosion III, won a Blue Dot (second place) in the O’Cain class show at the Art Students League.

2016

  • Sept. 9, 2016: I sold two watercolors at the fundraiser for Memorial Sloan Kettering breast cancer research at the National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, NYC: Croton and Elephant Ears, both painted during the time I was recovering from breast cancer.
  • Sept. 2-28, 2016: My watercolor, Quilt,  was in the exhibition at the St. Agnes Library, 444 Amsterdam Ave. (near 81 St.), NYC.
  • July 18-29, 2016: 38th Annual Juried Non-Member exhibition of The Salmagundi Club.  My acrylic painting, Running the Rapids, was one of only three abstracts in the show.
  • May 17-June 15, 2016: 37th Annual Vintage Artists Gallery Exhibit, 2600 Netherland Avenue, Bronx, NY 10463.  One of my watercolors, Reflections was included, as were two of my recent acrylics, Dancing and Raptor in Blue.
  • April 4-29, 2016: Say It with Watercolor exhibition at the Riverside Public Library. My acrylic, The Watcher, was included in the show.
  • January 9-February 6, 2016: Blue Door Gallery’s 8th Juried Exhibition included my watercolor, Ebb and Flow.
  • January 3-26, 2016: Journeys in Watercolor exhibition at the 96th Street Public Library. Three of my watercolors were included: Flight, Reflections, and Split Complement III.

2015

  • May 17-June 12, 2015: 36th Annual Vintage Artists Gallery Exhibit.  Two of my watercolors, Spuyten Duyvil, and Winter Rocks were included.
  • Apr. 16, 2015: 4th Annual Spring Art Exhibition, a Benefit for NYC’s Homeless, 120 East 32nd Street, NY, NY 10016. My abstract painting, Orange, was included among 63 2-D works priced at $500 or less. This one-day event was hosted by the Art Students League and Grand Central Neighborhood Social Services Corp. and featured some of the League’s most talented artists.
  • Apr. 3-27, 2015: 1100 Watercolor Society group show, “Imaginings,” at St. Francis College, 180 Remsen Street, Brooklyn Heights, NY 11201. I had 4 paintings in this show: Breiđafjörđur, All the Sky’s a StageEbb and Flow, and Reflected Glory. 
  • Mar. 23-29, 2015: Art Students League Class Show (students of Frank O’Cain). My collage, Dancing Pirate, won Red Dot (best in show).

2014

  • Sept. 8 – Oct. 3, 2014: Retrospective Exhibit of 20 paintings at The Interchurch Center, 61 Claremont (one block west of Broadway at 120th Street), in NYC.
  • May 18-6/13/2014: 35th Annual Art Show at the Vintage Artists Gallery, 2600 Netherland Avenue, Bronx, NY 10463. I had two paintings in this juried exhibit: Sueño del Mar (Dream of the Sea, based on a recent trip to Costa Rica) and Skógafoss (based on a magnificent waterfall I saw in Iceland two years ago).
  • May 5-30, 2014: Adventures in Watercolor, at the Manhattan Borough Presidents Office, 1 Centre Street, New York, NY 10007. I have four watercolors based on a friend’s wonderful picture of a Socotra (island off the coast of Yemen) sunset: one very representational painting looking a lot like her photograph and three abstracts loosely based on my first painting.
  • Mar. 3-28, 2014: Four Women’s Exhibit: Art Alive in Riverdale, at Riverdale Yonkers Society for Ethical Culture, 4450 Fieldston Road, Riverdale, NY, 718-548-4455. I had two watercolor collages in this show.

2013

  • Dec. 6-22, 2013: Art Students League Holiday Art Show, 215 W 57 St, NYC. M-F 9:00-8:00; Sa-Su 9:00-4:00. Remarkable work in all media priced from $100 to $1200.  My painting, Rock Wall, is in this show.
  • Nov. 10-28, 2013: Riverdale Art Association Tour de Four Exhibition at the Riverdale YMHA, 5625 Arlington Ave., Bronx, NY 10471. Reception: Nov. 10, 2013, 1:00 – 3:00pm.  I had five paintings in this show: Iceland Blue, Language Is Leaving Me, Highlands, Iceland Landscape II, and Breidafjördur.
  • Sept. 3-28, 2013: 1100 Watercolor Society Fall Exhibition 2013 at St. Francis College.  I had three paintings in this show:  Agra Wall, Rock Wall and Rock Wall II.
  • Mar. 4 – 16, 2013: 1100 Watercolor Society Exhibition at the National Arts Club, 15 Gramercy Park South, NYC.  I had 4 paintings based on my trip to Iceland last year: Iceland Blue, Highlands, Breiðafjörður and Sun Kissed.
  • March 1 – 29, 2013: Riverdale Art Association 4 Women Exhibition at Riverdale Yonkers Society for Ethical Culture, 4450 Fieldston Road, Riverdale, NY, 718-548-4455.
  • Jan. 10  – Feb. 8, 2013: BDAA 5th Annual Juried Exhibition, Blue Door Gallery, 13 Riverdale Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10701, 914-375-5100. Opening Reception: Thursday, Jan. 10, 5:30 – 8:00pm.  I had 3 watercolors in this exhibition: Downstream, Orange Bloom and Pink Slide.
  • Jan. 7 – 31, 2013: I had 2 paintings in the RAA juried exhibition at the Will Library, 1500 Central Park Ave., Yonkers, NY 10710;  M-Th 900-9:00, F 10:00-5:00, Sa 9:00-5:00; 914-337-1500.  Reception:  Thursday, Jan. 10 6:00 – 8:00pm.  My painting, Iceland Blue, based on my trip to Iceland, won First Prize.

2012

  • Nov. 24 – Dec. 29, 2012: Holiday Art Show at Blue Door Gallery, 13 Riverdale Avenue, Yonkers, NY 10701, 914-375-5100. Reception: Saturday, Nov. 24, 2:00 – 5:00 pm.  I  had five small paintings in this show.
  • May 6 – June 13, 2012: Annual Vintage Artists Gallery Exhibition, Riverdale, NY.  I had two paintings in this show: Summer Flowers and River Rocks II.
  • Mar. 24 – Apr. 21, 2012: BDAAJuried Exhibition, Yonkers, NY. My painting, Winds of Change, won Honorable Mention Award.
  • Mar. 19 – 31, 2012:National Arts Club, New York, NY.  I had four paintings in this exhibition: The Space Between, The Space Between II, In Between, and Spaces.
  • Mar. 3 – 30, 2012: Riverdale Art Association “Five Women” Show at Riverdale Yonkers Society for Ethical Culture, Riverdale, NY.  I had four paintings in this show all focused on the way snow looks in the City: City Snow III, IV, VI, and VII.

2011

  • Dec. 8 – Jan. 12, 2011: Eastchester Library Exhibition, 11 Oakridge Place, Eastchester, NY . Two of my paintings won First Prize: Waving Leaves won First Prize for Landscape, and Hens and Chickens II won First Prize for Watercolor.

2010

  • Dec. 6 – 18, 2010: Watercolor Exhibition at the National Arts Club, Trask Gallery, 15 Gramercy Park South, NYC.  I had three abstracts in this show: Winds of Change, Monster in the Gulf, and Wakodahatchee Wetlands.
  • Dec. 1 – 17, 2010: Art Students League’s Small Works show at the Manhattan Municipal Bldg, 1 Centre St., Office of Scott M. Stringer, Manhattan Borough President’s Gallery, 19th floor, South Tower. I had one painting in this show: Wave Hill Rainy Day Patio.
  • Nov. 19 – January, 2011: Nature’s Palette show at Wave Hill, 675 West 252 Street, Bronx, NY. I had one painting, Copper Beech, in this show.
  • Nov. 20 – Dec. 30, 2010: Small Works for Holiday Giving at the Blue Door Gallery, 13 Riverdale Avenue, Yonkers, NY. I had six paintings in this show.
  • Nov. 1 – 27, 2010: Exhibition at the Municipal Bldg, 1 Centre St., Office of Scott M. Stringer, Manhattan Borough President’s Gallery, 19th floor, South Tower. I had 3 paintings in this show.
  • July 12 – 23, 2010: Juried Non-Member Exhibition at the Salmagundi Club, 47 Fifth Avenue (12 St.), NYC, NY 10003. My painting, Croton, was accepted into this show. 
  • May 23 – 30, 2010: Riverdale Atria. I had two paintings in this show. (Ended)
  • May 2 – June 1, 2010: Juried show at the Vintage Artists Gallery, The Century, 2600 Netherland Avenue, Riverdale, NY 10463. My painting, Old Leaves, New Buds, won First Place for Watercolor. 
  • Apr. 5 – June 30, 2010: Bronx Boro Presidents Office. My painting, Winter Shadows, was in this show. 
  • Apr. 2 – 29, 2010: Yonkers Riverfront Library. My painting, Flamingoing, won First Prize. 
  • April, 2010: Five of my watercolors were used in the recently released film, At the Present Time.
  • Jan. 19 – Feb. 26, 2010: Grace Institute, NYC. I had two paintings in this show.
  • Dec. 12 – Jan. 2, 2010: Small Gems: Arts for Giving show at the Blue Door Gallery in Yonkers, NY. I had 10 paintings in this show. 

2009

  • Dec. 4 – 24, 2009: The Holiday Show at the Art Students League. I had one painting, Croton, in this show. 
  • Sept. 1 – 30,2009: The Vintage Artists Gallery, The Century, 2600 Netherland Avenue, Riverdale, NY 10463; a one-woman show with 12 paintings from my Galapagos, Vietnam, Cambodia and Mexico trips. 
  • June 29-July 10, 2009: Salmagundi Club. I had one painting, Apples of My Eye, accepted into this annual juried Non-Member Show. 
  • June 6 – June 20, 2009: The National Arts Club. I had four paintings in this show.
  • June 1 – 27, 2009: Yonkers/Will Library. My painting, Seen Better Days, won First Place for Watercolor.
  • June 1 – 13, 2009: Art Students League. This was the ASL’s Red Dot Exhibit, showing all the Red Dot (Best in Class) winners from the different class shows. My painting, Apples of My Eye, was in this exhibit. 
  • May 3 – 30, 2009: Juried show at The Vintage Artists Gallery. My painting, Mourning Dove, won Second Place for Watercolor. 
  • April, 2009: St. Francis College 
  • March 1 – 31, 2009: Ethical Culture Society 
  • Jan. 26 – 31, 2009: Art Students League. My painting, Apples of My Eye, won Best in Class.
  • Jan. 8 – Feb. 1, 2009: Juried Small Works Show at Upstream Gallery 
  • Dec. 1 – Feb. 22, 2009: “Naturally Inspired” juried show at Wave Hill. The image of my painting, Wave Hill Snow Spikes, was selected by Wave Hill to go on their promotional flyer, “Celebrate the Holidays at Wave Hill.”
