My Winter series is starting to wind down.  I still have Winter series paintings I want to create, but I'm going to run out of small canvases soon and the idea of using a palette knife on something much larger is scary.  Not to mention the fact that I am increasingly having visions of larger (non-winter) paintings requiring a different (non-palette knife) technique. Gotta go with the flow.  This scene was painted over an earlier painting I didn't like anymore.
